We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to join our team and lead on-site operations across a range of project types. The ideal candidate is highly organized, safety-focused, and experienced in managing complex construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate all on-site construction activities and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs and maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized job site.
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, site photos, and safety records.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors to address challenges and implement solutions.
- Manage material deliveries, equipment rentals, and workforce scheduling.
- Enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor quality control standards and ensure work meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Lead job site meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Schedule and supervise inspections; ensure all code and permit requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial, multi-family, or high-end residential construction (experience in all three is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale jobs independently.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
