Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warranty / Service Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage warranty claims, coordinate service processes, and provide outstanding customer support. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth operations, maximize service opportunities, and uphold our reputation for excellence in customer care.
We will provide full support and training so the successful candidate will gain a full understanding of the Kia Warranty claims process
This role is all about the detail and quality of the information we send to the manufacture to ensure all our claims are approved.
Duties
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with manufacturer guidelines
- Assist customers with service inquiries, providing clear explanations of warranty coverage and repair procedures
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Maintain detailed records of service transactions, warranty approvals, and parts used in repairs
- Handle cash transactions securely, including payments for services or parts when necessary
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to coordinate repair schedules and ensure timely completion of work
- Support the service team by managing appointment bookings and follow-up communications
- Assist front of house during busy periods during check-in and seeing customers out
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge or familiarity with automotive repair processes is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in upselling or identifying additional sales opportunities within a service environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Organized with keen attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and claim processing
- Previous experience as a Service Administrator or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential
