Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Multi Drop Furniture Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering furniture items to multiple locations, ensuring each delivery is completed efficiently and with excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a commercial van or delivery vehicle to transport furniture to various customer locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
- Load and unload furniture items with care, including heavy lifting and secure transportation of fragile goods
- Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adapting to changing schedules or road conditions
- Communicate clearly with customers upon arrival, providing excellent service and answering any questions about their delivery
- Complete all necessary paperwork, delivery logs, and electronic documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is always ready for daily deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes involving furniture or bulky goods
- Valid van or commercial driving license (such as a Class B license) with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy furniture items safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of local roads, navigation tools, and route planning techniques
- Prior experience in commercial driving or heavy lifting roles will be considered an asset
