About Position:
We are looking for an experienced AWS Grafana Engineer with 8 to 12 years of expertise in cloud infrastructure monitoring, observability, performance management, and platform reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Grafana, and Prometheus, along with a proven track record of implementing enterprise monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications and cloud platforms.

What You'll Do:

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus.

Build dashboards, alerts, reports, and visualizations for cloud and application monitoring.

Monitor AWS infrastructure, applications, databases, containers, and microservices environments.
-
Configure and optimize Prometheus metrics collection, exporters, alerting rules, and retention policies.
-
Develop scalable monitoring frameworks to support business-critical applications and cloud platforms.
-
Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, developers, and security teams to improve platform observability.
-
Analyze system performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.
-
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and monitoring issues across production environments.
-
Implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to minimize downtime and operational risks.

Support containerized and cloud-native applications running on Kubernetes and Docker platforms.

Participate in production readiness reviews, capacity planning, and reliability assessments.

Automate monitoring configurations and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.

Develop operational runbooks, monitoring standards, and technical documentation.

Identify risks, dependencies, and performance issues and drive timely resolutions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation frameworks, and operational excellence programs.

Support Agile delivery processes and work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Expertise You'll Bring:

8 to 12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Monitoring, Observability, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

Strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services and cloud-based infrastructure management.

Extensive experience with Grafana dashboard development, visualization, and observability solutions.
-
Deep understanding of Prometheus architecture, metrics collection, exporters, alerting, and monitoring best practices.
-
Experience implementing enterprise monitoring and observability platforms for large-scale environments.
-
Strong knowledge of cloud-native monitoring, logging, and distributed system observability.
-
Experience monitoring containerized applications, Kubernetes clusters, and microservices architectures.
-
Familiarity with AWS monitoring services including CloudWatch and cloud observability frameworks.

Experience with alerting, incident management, root cause analysis, and operational support.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.

Experience working with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK Stack, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, or similar technologies.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance optimization skills.

Experience supporting highly available and mission-critical production environments.

Strong understanding of reliability engineering, capacity planning, and operational governance.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

Experience working in Agile and cross-functional engineering teams.
