Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical, suspension, transmission, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing faulty components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and other mechanical parts.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper installation or repairs.
- Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to optimize handling and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance instruments efficiently to complete repairs with precision.
- Follow dealership procedures for auto estimating and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with powertrain repairs, vehicle transmission system repairs, diesel engine repairs, and vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding automotive wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including ADAS technology, suspension systems, transmissions, and electrical wiring.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $26.51 - $31.92 per hour
