Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drop Bury Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely burying cable lines in outdoor environments. Your expertise will ensure the reliable delivery of high-speed internet, voice, and data services to residential and commercial customers. Duties
- Operate trenchers, utilize hand tools, power tools, and other technical equipment to complete buries with precision and safety.
- Restore work sites post-installation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field service roles within telecommunications or construction industries with outdoor work environments
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as trenchers, and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, electrical systems, cabling techniques, and construction practices
- Technical proficiency in using hand tools, power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot engineering issues within fiber optic or telecommunication networks
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical instructions effectively
