Conocimientos Eléctricos
El técnico debe comprender circuitos eléctricos en corriente continua y alterna, sistemas trifásicos, y saber interpretar planos y diagramas eléctricos. Necesita conocer motores eléctricos (AC/DC), transformadores, generadores, y sistemas de protección eléctrica. También debe dominar el uso de instrumentos de medición como multímetros, pinzas amperimétricas y osciloscopios.
Conocimientos Mecánicos
Debe entender elementos de máquinas como engranajes, poleas, correas, rodamientos y acoplamientos. Requiere conocimientos en sistemas de transmisión de potencia, lubricación industrial, y principios de neumática e hidráulica. La capacidad para realizar ajustes mecánicos, alineación de ejes y balanceo es esencial.
Mantenimiento
Necesita conocer estrategias de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo. Debe saber diagnosticar fallas, interpretar manuales técnicos, y llevar registros de mantenimiento. La gestión de repuestos y herramientas también es parte de sus responsabilidades.
Seguridad y Normativas
Es fundamental conocer normas de seguridad eléctrica, procedimientos de trabajo seguro, y normativas locales e internacionales aplicables. Debe dominar técnicas de bloqueo y etiquetado (LOTO), y comprender sistemas de protección contra incendios.
Habilidades Complementarias
Además de lo técnico, requiere capacidad de lectura e interpretación de planos, conocimientos básicos de informática, habilidades de comunicación para elaborar informes, y capacidad para trabajar en equipo y resolver problemas de manera eficiente.
Esta formación integral permite al técnico electromecánico mantener y optimizar el funcionamiento de instalaciones y equipos industriales de manera segura y efectiva.
