Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and clear communication.
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or perform merchandising tasks efficiently and safely.
- Use your knowledge of pricing strategies to upsell additional products or services that benefit the customer.
- Follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or automobile transportation.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and route schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new sales strategies, improve client engagement, and meet company goals.
Qualifications
- Prior retail store experience or experience in customer relationship building is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or route driving is a plus.
- Knowledge of pricing, upselling techniques, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Familiarity with automobile transportation, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices to handle equipment or merchandise securely.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to adhere to DOT regulations and maintain safety standards during all driving and lifting activities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple client visits, route schedules, and merchandising tasks efficiently.
- Military experience related to logistics, driving, or customer service is considered an asset.
