We are looking for a skilled Middle Manual QA Engineer to join a high-impact banking technology project. The client is a prominent financial enterprise expanding and enhancing its online client banking platforms and administrative management portals. You will be responsible for end-to-end functional and non-functional manual testing across API and UI layers.
Responsibilities
Perform functional and non-functional manual testing of Client-Banking web systems and Admin Portals.
Analyze banking product specifications and business requirements
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on defects and manage bug prioritization
Create, maintain, and review test documentation (checklists, test cases, test suites)
Execute modular, integration, system, and API testing across various SDLC stages
Collaborate actively with software developers, business analysts, and product owners
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming)
Requirements
3+ years of commercial experience in Web and backend manual testing.
Solid understanding of QA theory, methodologies, and SDLC models (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
Proficiency with Postman for REST API testing (authentication, CRUD operations, response/DB validation)
Practical experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Strong understanding of microservice architecture
Hands-on experience with proxy debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler)
Experience using and managing Test Management Systems (TMS) such as Qase or TestRail .
