How would you like to help shape the future of AI-powered legal workflows and platform innovation on a global scale?

Are you excited by the opportunity to partner directly with customers, influence platform strategy, and transform emerging technologies into solutions that deliver meaningful impact?

About our Team

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which serves customers in more than 150 countries with 11,800 employees worldwide, is part of RELX (http://www.relx.com), a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. Our company has been a long-time leader in deploying AI and advanced technologies to the legal market to improve productivity and transform the overall business and practice of law, deploying ethical and powerful generative AI solutions with a flexible, multi-model approach that prioritizes using the best model from today's top model creators for each individual legal use case. The company employs over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts to develop, test, and validate solutions in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles.

About the Role

As Principal Product Manager, Forward Deployment, you own the platform layer beneath our applications — the reusable services, configurability, and deployment patterns that let a capability built once extend cleanly across regions and customers. You'll work at the hip with our white-glove and customer-facing teams to understand how customers adopt and customize Protégé, then translate those insights into platform investments that make deployment faster, stickier, and more repeatable: a team in one region extending capabilities into another, or a customer configuring the product to fit their own end-to-end workflows. This is a hands-on, technically deep role — you'll shape how the platform is built and define what becomes common, shared capability versus what stays local (data sovereignty, content supply, language). You'll set the value metrics for reuse and stickiness and own the outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Define and drive platform capabilities that enable multiple products, regions, and customer segments.

- Identify opportunities to transform market-specific functionality into reusable, scalable platform services.

- Develop strategic frameworks that improve speed-to-market while maintaining a consistent customer experience globally.

- Champion platform-first thinking across product and engineering organizations.

- Engage directly with customers, strategic accounts, field organizations, implementation / white-glove teams, and market leaders to identify emerging workflow challenges and opportunities.

- Translate customer-specific requirements into scalable platform investments and validate product concepts through direct market engagement.

- Identify opportunities to apply generative AI, agentic systems, automation, retrieval technologies, and workflow orchestration to solve meaningful customer problems.

- Set the value metrics for reuse and stickiness, and own the outcomes.

Requirements

- 10+ years of Product Management experience, customer-facing / outbound, with real technical depth (not surface-level only).

- Masters degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline strongly preferred, but not essential.

- Strong product leadership with the ability to influence across complex organizations globally.

- Experience defining and executing platform strategy across multiple products, regions, or customer segments.

- Ability to engage directly with customers and translate customer needs into scalable solutions.

- Deep, hands-on understanding of AI-powered products — generative AI, agents, retrieval/RAG, automation, and workflow orchestration — with the technical fluency to make real architectural and design tradeoffs.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth, monetization, and market expansion opportunities.

- Data-driven approach to decision-making and product investment prioritization.

- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with shifting goalposts, balancing experimentation with execution.

- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
