Responsibilities

- Proofread and edit translations for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and clarity while adhering to project guidelines.
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project objectives, target audiences, and specific localization requirements.
- Utilize translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio to ensure consistency across projects and streamline workflows.
- Maintain a high standard of professional ethics by respecting confidentiality and intellectual property rights.
- Provide feedback on linguistic nuances or cultural considerations that could enhance campaign effectiveness.
Skills
- Multilingual proficiency with exceptional command of Spanish (Spain) and English; bilingual skills are essential.
- Proven experience in translation, transcreation, or creative marketing localization within a freelance capacity.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and writing skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with translation software such as SDL Trados Studio or similar CAT tools.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal translation services is a plus for specialized projects.
- Understanding of technical translation services related to marketing technology or digital platforms.
