We are seeking highly qualified candidates for the following opportunity.

Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: This position is an on-site role. Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls in accordance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Position Responsibilities:

- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.

- Work closely with Maintenance Techs troubleshoot, modify equipment, improve line layout, update equipment, etc.

- Prepare and present plans for production process improvement and coordinate implementation including training of affected associates.

- Improve and update standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and job-related training.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Controls Engineering or related field OR Associate’s degree with related experience.

- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing processes highly preferred.

- Experience with PLC’s and HMI/MMI programming

- Experience with Robotics (Fanuc, Motoman, Panasonic) and Welding (Resistance and Mig) highly preferred.

- Ability to lead and participate in project teams.

- Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills.

- Able to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.

Work Environment:

· Plant and office environment.

· Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.

F&P America Manufacturing offers competitive salaries and overtime, at straight-time, after 50 hours per week. Additional eligible pay includes bonus potential.
