About ARQ SME BDC
ARQ SME BDC is a Philippine SEC-registered private credit platform providing structured and mezzanine financing to high-potential mid-market SMEs. We are a lean, high-performance team building institutional-grade operations in the private debt space.
The Role
Execution-focused officer supporting ARQ's outreach, partnership coordination, and program delivery under the direction of senior leadership.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Execute outreach to SME networks, industry associations, and ecosystem partners
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of SME leads from assigned partners and partner opportunities
- Coordinate partnership documentation and onboarding with senior guidance
- Attend and represent ARQ at external forums and ecosystem engagements as directed
Marketing & Brand
- Execute marketing and communications activities across digital, social, and events
- Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels
- Assist in preparation of investor-facing reports, newsletters, and impact communications
- Track and report marketing metrics monthly
Program Coordination
- Coordinate logistics and stakeholder communication for sponsored events with partners
- Support delivery of SME business development initiatives with internal and external parties
- Assist in measuring and documenting program impact — ESG, inclusion, and resilience metrics
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity trackers
- Submit weekly BD activity report
- Coordinate task handoffs with Finance, Investments, and Operations as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in business development, marketing, partnerships, or a related field
- Proficient in Google Workspace and at least one CRM tool
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Financial services, fintech, or SME-focused experience is a plus
- Comfortable executing independently on assigned tasks without daily supervision
Setup
- In person, Manila-based
- Probationary for 6 months; regularization upon satisfactory performance review

- Makati: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
