Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Drive revenue growth and market share by creating and executing comprehensive sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Lead and Grow the Sales Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals. Offer ongoing coaching and support to help the team meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor Sales Performance: Track key metrics—such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer acquisition—ensuring performance is on track. Implement corrective actions to stay aligned with dealership objectives.
- Foster Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with marketing and operations teams to align efforts and ensure smooth business operations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare detailed sales forecasts, manage budgets, and ensure the team operates within financial guidelines.
- Market Analysis & Strategy Adjustments: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
- Contract Negotiations & F&I Expertise: Lead negotiations with key clients, manage contracts, and oversee Finance & Insurance (F&I) products and processes to support team knowledge.
Requirements for Success:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Sales Manager in a dealership, meeting and exceeding performance metrics while achieving leading CSI scores. Background in pre-owned management, appraisals, purchasing, and marketing is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Expertise in driving sales, mentoring a team, and delivering exceptional customer service. Proficient in dealership management software (CDK OneEighty) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive sales processes, inventory management, market trends, and customer preferences. Ability to analyze financial data and performance metrics to enhance department profitability.
Additional Requirements:
- OMVIC License and Clean Driving Record are mandatory.
- This role includes working Saturdays and a few evening shifts during the week.
