What You'll Handle

Operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver metal of various shapes and sizes to customers.

Load and unload material using an overhead crane and forklift; carry and move supplies as needed.

Verify final packaging and labeling meet customer specifications before delivery.

Pick up material from customer jobsites and complete vendor pick-ups as required.

Adhere to FMCSA standards and Ryerson safety practices at all times.

Work efficiently to achieve high productivity on every task.

Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED.

1–3 years of flatbed driving experience.

Current Class A CDL and a valid FMCSA medical card.

Clean driving record and a history of on-time deliveries and pick-ups.

Experience making customer deliveries and pick-ups; industrial warehouse background preferred.

Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift safely (training provided as needed).

Basic math and reading skills.

Physical ability to meet vision, hearing, and mobility requirements and pass the relevant exam.
