Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring to create stable foundations and structures
- Install drywall, flooring, tile, cabinets, and other interior finishes with precision
- Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stonework, and concrete work as needed
- Conduct plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-ins or installations in compliance with codes
- Apply caulking, painting, and restoration techniques to improve or refurbish structures
- Measure materials for construction estimating purposes and ensure proper inventory management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or related skilled trades with a strong understanding of building processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, masonry, carpentry, drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and painting
- Familiarity with construction procedures and safety protocols on-site
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
