The Avenue Care and Rehabilitation is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Bus Driver to safely transport our residents to appointments, outings, and activities. If you enjoy driving and making a difference in others’ lives, this is the role for you!
Job Duties:

Safely operate facility vehicles for scheduled trips

Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and mobility needs

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues

Follow traffic laws and facility policies
-
Coordinate transportation schedules with staff

Keep accurate records for billing and documentation

Provide friendly, respectful service to all residents
Qualifications:
-
Minimum age: 18; at least 2 years of driving experience

Valid driver’s license with no more than 5 points
-
Clear criminal and FBI background checks
-
Medical exam and Passenger Assistance Course completion

Current CPR and First Aid certification
-
Strong time management and organizational skills
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents physically
