QA Engineer
Role Description:
We are seeking a QA Engineer to support functional, integration, API, and regression testing for web applications and backend services. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality across development and release cycles and collaborating closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform API testing for RESTful backend services.
- Validate application workflows across frontend and backend components.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs where applicable.
- Perform database validation using SQL and NoSQL queries.
- Identify, document, and track defects through the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues.
- Support release validation, smoke testing, and regression testing.
- Validate application performance, reliability, and data accuracy.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and quality reviews.
- Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skill Set:
- 3–5 years of experience in software QA/testing.
- Strong experience in functional and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Experience with web application testing and backend/API validation.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD environments.
- Understanding of defect management and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum team
Pay: ₹316,903.77 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
