Performs general operational assistance in the laboratory. This person will assist in day-to-day lab operations while conducting straight forward experiments.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of lab experience or college level science courses
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to use a PC or Mac computer and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). To create instruction material, reports and equipment brochures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with the operations of basic laboratory equipment; ability to troubleshoot minor malfunctions of scientific equipment holdings.
- Excellent record keeping and file maintenance skills.
- Ability to work on projects under the supervision of the PI.
