Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Caerphilly. These roles are ideal for passionate individuals who enjoy supporting pupils’ learning and making a positive impact in the classroom.
We have opportunities for general classroom support, 1:1 support, and SEN/ALN roles, with both short-term and long-term placements available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support where required
- Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN/SEN)
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based preferred)
- A patient, caring, and reliable approach
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
