Under the guidance of the QA Manager, you will support manual and automated testing activities that validate end‑to‑end business processes and ensure applications meet functional and quality expectations, in line with defined testing strategies, standards, and procedures.

In this role, you will work closely with the US business users, product owners, and development teams to understand the business context, functional requirements, and application features, and translate them into clear test cases and appropriate test data sets. You will assist in preparing and executing QA plans that include documentation reviews, functional testing, regression testing, and basic performance testing.

You will participate in identifying, documenting, and helping resolve defects, supporting delivery through a combination of manual testing and test automation, within an Agile way of working. The role does not require deep development expertise but offers the opportunity to learn automation tools, scripting concepts, and modern QA practices over time.

As a member of the QA Team, you will collaborate with peers, share knowledge and best practices, and continuously build your skills in quality engineering. You will join the Tech, Data & AI department, providing opportunities to grow within a global and dynamic organization supporting SCOR’s platforms worldwide

On software testing:

- Develop and carry out methods and procedures for automated and manual product testing to meet project schedules as required

- Analyze test results and collaborate with the assigned and extended squad, crews to identify bugs and potential performance issues for resolution utilizing agile methodology

- Work with developers, architects and automation engineers to design frameworks, automated and AI driven testing solutions

- Identify individual tasks, mentor and coach team members on automation procedures and techniques, execute initiatives that improve the QA strategies

- Prepare and implement QA plans in support of the existing and evolving life admin eco systems

- Create and perform performance tests that execute system load that is identical to the processing volume of the current and future life admin eco system

- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes o Support various internal and external audit requirements as needed

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and software testing best practices.

- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices

- BS in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent work experience required

- 3+ years of hands on experience in evaluating, designing and building test automation on Playwright or similar testing frameworks

- Basic to intermediate experience with test automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jenkins or Gitlab)

- Working knowledge of programming using the (Java/C#)

- Familiarity with development and testing methodologies such as Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD)

- Experience/ Knowledge of the Reinsurance business and/or the financial services industry is a plus

- Experience using MCP-compatible tools/servers to connect AI assistants with browser automation workflows.

- Ability to launch browser sessions through automation tooling, inspect runtime UI state, and identify robust selectors (including XPath/CSS locators) for stable test scripts.

Understanding of AI-assisted locator strategies to reduce flaky tests by preferring resilient selectors (role, label, test-id) before XPath when possible.

Pay Range for roles performed in KC & CLT: $117,500-$143,500 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including

but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees.
