Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise-level applications using Java and related programming languages, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate efficient communication between distributed systems and services.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver features iteratively, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Build scalable microservices architectures leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to optimize system performance and flexibility.
- Integrate front-end components built with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Apply design patterns and best practices in software engineering to create robust, reusable code that adheres to security standards like RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Utilize version control tools such as Git or SVN for code management, ensuring proper documentation and change tracking.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions for streamlined delivery.
- Conduct system design for new features and enhancements, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability across Linux or Windows environments.
Experience
- Proven experience developing applications with Java in a professional setting, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, web development frameworks like Spring Boot or Express.js, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services including AWS or Azure for deploying scalable systems.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and system design for large-scale applications.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments using tools like Jira or GitHub Projects.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Exposure to other programming languages including C#, Python, C++, or C# is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in Linux or Windows operating systems while maintaining high standards of code quality and security practices.

Pay: $35.00 - $135.00 per hour
