About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer based in Hyderabad on a freelance/contract basis to design, develop, and deploy a modern, scalable web platform with AI capabilities, API integrations, cloud infrastructure, and a robust backend system.
The ideal candidate should be capable of taking ownership of the complete development lifecycle—from architecture and database design to frontend development, backend APIs, AI/third-party integrations, AWS deployment, security, testing, and optimization.
The platform will involve AI-powered functionality and multiple API integrations, so strong experience working with AI APIs and cloud-based applications is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a modern, responsive, high-performance frontend
- Build scalable and secure backend architecture and APIs
- Integrate AI APIs, LLMs, and third-party APIs/services
- Develop authentication, user management, databases, dashboards, and core platform functionality
- Design and implement REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- Set up and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
- Handle backend deployment, hosting, storage, databases, and server configuration
- Implement security, authentication, authorization, and data protection
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Debug, test, and maintain the complete application
- Work independently and contribute to technical architecture and product decisions
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong frontend experience with React.js / Next.js
- Strong backend experience with Node.js / Python / similar technologies
- Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, API integrations, webhooks, and third-party services
- Experience integrating AI / LLM APIs
- Strong database knowledge — PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, etc.
- Strong Git/GitHub experience
- Knowledge of deployment, CI/CD, security, and server management
- Ability to write clean, scalable, production-ready code
Preferred Skills
- Experience building AI-powered web applications
- Experience with OpenAI or other LLM APIs
- Experience with AI agents, automation, or AI workflows
- Experience with Next.js and modern cloud architectures
- Docker and CI/CD experience
- Experience building scalable/high-traffic applications
- Basic understanding of UI/UX and Figma
What We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for a senior developer who can independently take ownership of the complete technical development.
You should be comfortable making architectural decisions, selecting appropriate technologies, integrating APIs, managing AWS infrastructure, and delivering a production-ready application.
Candidates must be based in Hyderabad or be available to work from Hyderabad when required.
Engagement
This is a freelance/contract position, initially project-based, with the possibility of a long-term engagement based on performance and project requirements.
