About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, and day-to-day finance operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong traditional finance and accounting expertise with a technology-forward mindset, including hands-on experience using AI tools such as OpenAI Codex, Cloudco, or similar AI-powered productivity and automation tools to improve financial workflows, reporting, analysis, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial models.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure financial data accuracy.
- Support audit, tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting dashboards.
- Use AI and automation tools to streamline repetitive finance tasks and improve productivity.
- Explore practical applications of Codex, Cloudco, and other AI tools for data analysis, reporting automation, spreadsheet workflows, documentation, and process improvement.
- Work closely with operations and leadership teams to support strategic business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen financial controls.
- Present financial results and recommendations clearly to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably including management or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Experience with accounting or Enterprise Resource Planning systems and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
