Job Description:
The Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet (Hotel’s Name)’s cleanliness and quality standards.
Job Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assign rooms and tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure adequate coverage;
- Monitor and update room status accurately and in a timely manner;
- Assist housekeeping staff as needed, including cleaning rooms when short staffed;
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and Company standards are met;
- Report maintenance issues, discrepancies, or concerns to management;
- Maintain and monitor housekeeping supply inventory;
- Verify deliveries and report any discrepancies;
- Manage lost and found items in accordance with Company procedures;
- Support hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline of housekeeping staff;
- Train employees on Company standards, procedures, and safety practices;
- Communicate regularly with management regarding operations and staffing needs;
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment;
- Coordinate with other departments to support overall hotel operations; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

- Ability to assist with cleaning tasks when needed.
