About the Role
We are looking for a Construction Estimator with hands-on experience in reading construction drawings and performing quantity takeoffs.
In this role, you will work closely with our AI product team as a construction domain specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to review, audit, and verify AI-generated results against actual construction drawings and estimating requirements.
This is a great opportunity for someone with practical estimating experience who is interested in working with an AI product and contributing to the accuracy and reliability of AI-powered construction estimating workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Perform construction quantity takeoffs and validate quantities against drawings and project requirements.
- Review AI-generated takeoff and estimating results for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify errors, discrepancies, missing items, and incorrect quantities in AI-generated results.
- Audit AI outputs and provide accurate feedback to help improve product performance.
- Verify measurements, quantities, materials, and other estimating-related information.
- Follow standardized processes for reviewing and validating AI-generated results.
- Work closely with the product and technology teams to communicate construction-specific requirements, exceptions, and edge cases.
- Identify areas where AI may misinterpret drawings, symbols, specifications, or construction details.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while reviewing large volumes of construction drawings and AI-generated outputs.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in construction estimating or a closely related role.
- Strong ability to read and understand construction blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with quantity takeoffs and construction estimating workflows.
- Good understanding of construction materials, measurements, and common construction terminology.
- Experience using Bluebeam or other construction takeoff/estimating software.
- Highly systematic and detail-oriented approach to reviewing drawings and quantities.
- Strong ability to identify discrepancies and accurately verify information.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning AI-based tools.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain errors, discrepancies, and construction-specific requirements.
- Ability to work independently and follow structured processes.
Preferred
- Experience working with multiple types of construction drawings and projects.
- Familiarity with digital takeoff and estimating platforms.
- Experience reviewing or auditing estimates prepared by others.
- Interest in AI, automation, or construction technology is a plus.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
