We are seeking an Engineering Leader who can be a player-coach at an early age, an exciting startup
that is disrupting the supply chain space. This is a hands-on leadership role with a deliberate 60 / 40
split - approximately 60% direct engineering contribution and 40% team leadership and management.
The ideal candidate is as comfortable writing production code as they are mentoring engineers and
engaging with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Technology Architecture and Stack
- Define and implement the company’s technical vision and roadmap in collaboration with
- the founding team.
- Design scalable, robust, and secure systems to support rapid growth and innovation.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business needs.

- Contribute production-quality code across the stack - back-end, front-end, and data layers.
- Lead by example in adopting AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate team velocity and
- Own critical technical deliverables end-to-end, from design through deployment and
- Drive integration of AI capabilities into the product, spanning both agentic workflows (agent
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration,
- Promote an agile and iterative development process, balancing speed with quality.
- Provide technical guidance and career development opportunities for team members.
- Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate ideas into technical
- Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure timely delivery of features and maintain a high-quality codebase.Operational Excellence
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and system monitoring.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of systems and processes.
- Manage technical debt and balance short-term deliverables with long-term sustainability.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a thought partner to the senior leaders, contributing to overall company strategy and
decision-making.
- Represent the engineering perspective in cross-functional discussions and ensure alignment
with business objectives.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical
- stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education
- 5+ years of hands-on B2B SaaS software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a
- leadership or management role.
- Startup experience is highly desirable.
- Deep experience with all forms of agile development processes
- Engineering degree is preferred since this is an engineering-focused product
- Has experience working directly with senior leadership and knowing when and how to
manage expectations with scope, schedule, costTechnical Expertisetechnologies especially Azure.appropriate equivalents — is required.including agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, function/tool calling, and multi-agent patterns.Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or Open AI Codex to accelerate development velocity and improve codequality.Project Management Skills
- Deep understanding of modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud
- Hands-on experience with architecture and full-stack development is a requirement.
- Hands-on proficiency in .NET (back-end microservices), SQL databases, and Python — or
- Hands-on proficiency in Angular (or equivalent modern front-end framework) is required.
- Agentic AI Integrations: Experience building Agentic AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry APIs —
- AI-Assisted Coding Expertise: Demonstrated daily use of AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub
- Proven track record of running software engineering projects for leading B2B SaaS products
