Description and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting network devices and technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba NAC.
The L2 Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, performance, and security across our organization's IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

Administer and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including policy creation, monitoring, and security rule implementation.

Support Aruba NAC solutions, including authentication, authorization, and endpoint compliance.

Monitor network performance, identify issues, and provide timely resolutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and network-related projects.

Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, device configurations, and incident reports.
-
Participate in on-call rotation and provide L2 support for escalated network incidents.

Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of experience in network engineering and support.
-
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices and technologies including but not limited to Cisco ISE/DNAC and CMX
-
Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.

Experience with Aruba NAC implementation and support.
-
Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching concepts.
- Knowledge of DNS and DHCP.

Knowledge or experience with F5 and Zscaler technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Prefer candidate who are able to obtain required CAT1 clearance.
Preferred Certifications:
-
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher.

Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or higher.

Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) or equivalent.
