WHO WE ARE
Join a mission that makes a critical difference in the lives of those facing cancer on the Cape and Islands.
At Cape Wellness Collaborative (CWC), we help people on Cape Cod and the Islands facing cancer feel better through free-of-charge integrative therapies, nourishing meals, and emotional support. Founded by local musician Sarah Swain, CWC is a growing nonprofit dedicated to bringing comfort, connection, and hope to our community. We are presently serving about 1,000 people on the Cape and Islands. The ethos of CWC is whole-person-centered, rooted in compassion, care, and integrity, and is driven by a genuine desire to help others and make our little corner of the world a better, more joyful place.
WHAT WE DO
CWC provides funds for cancer patients and their caregivers to access integrative therapies near or in their home towns. Our goal is to relieve them of some or all of the symptoms they are experiencing as a result of their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment. We want them to feel better, so they can move through their lives with more ease and comfort, which creates a positive ripple effect in their home and community. An added benefit of this community-driven approach is the economic impact, as we put $225,000 back into small local businesses.
