SUPERVISOR – RECRUITMENT & OUTSOURCING
Positions available: Johannesburg & Durban
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our recruitment and workforce outsourcing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising employees placed at various client sites, maintaining communication with clients and ensuring that operational requirements are properly communicated and managed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a supervisory role managing staff.
- Experience in a recruitment, labour outsourcing, staffing or similar operational environment will be an advantage.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence – ESSENTIAL.
- Must be able to travel to different client sites as required.
- Strong staff management and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable dealing directly with clients.
- Must be able to report directly to the Director.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned employees and sites.
- Computer literate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise employees placed at various client sites.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding their staffing requirements.
- Obtain and confirm working hours, shifts, attendance requirements and operational instructions directly from clients.
- Ensure employees are informed of their required working hours, shifts and duties.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and performance.
- Conduct regular site visits and employee checks.
- Deal with employee queries and operational issues.
- Address absenteeism, misconduct and other staff-related matters and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure that changes to client requirements are communicated to the relevant employees and management.
- Recruit and assist with the placement of employees when required.
- Maintain accurate records and submit regular reports to the Director.
- Ensure company policies and client requirements are followed.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Be available to deal with operational matters and changes in client requirements.
IMPORTANT
This is an outsourced workforce environment, and the Supervisor will be expected to obtain the necessary operational information directly from clients, including start times, shift patterns, working hours, staffing requirements and site-specific instructions.
The successful candidate must therefore be mobile, hands-on and comfortable managing employees across multiple client sites.
