e are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Cloud Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, and Google Cloud Platform.
The successful candidate will work as part of a globally distributed engineering team supporting enterprise applications and integration services. This role will focus on backend development, cloud implementation, API integration, application monitoring, automated testing, and production support.
The position will collaborate with U.S.- and India-based architects, technical leads, software engineers, business analysts, security teams, testing teams, and production-support teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
What you’ll do...

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices.

Develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, background workers, scheduled jobs, and event-driven applications.

Build and consume RESTful APIs using JSON, OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman, and enterprise API standards.

Develop cloud applications using Google Cloud Platform services, including:

Cloud Logging and Monitoring

Implement asynchronous processing, messaging, retry handling, dead-letter processing, and event-driven integration using Pub/Sub or similar technologies.

Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or PCF.
-
Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Tekton, Maven, and related DevOps tools.
-
Work with Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud configuration using Terraform or comparable tools.
-
Implement application security using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, Microsoft Entra ID, service accounts, secrets management, and TLS/SSL.
-
Integrate cloud services with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, messaging systems, and external platforms.
-
Develop and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or other relational and NoSQL technologies.
-
Develop scheduled and batch-processing solutions using Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Scheduler, Autosys, or similar tools.
-
Participate in code reviews and follow engineering, architecture, security, and quality standards.

Create unit, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, Karate, JMeter, and Postman.

Support application monitoring and troubleshooting using Google Cloud Monitoring, Google Cloud Logging, AppDynamics
-
Investigate production issues, analyze logs and metrics, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
-
Perform performance tuning for Java services, APIs, database queries, messaging flows, and cloud workloads.
-
Support cloud migration, application modernization, platform upgrades, deployment cutovers, and post-release stabilization.
-
Collaborate with technical leads and architects on solution design, technical documentation, API specifications, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
-
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, demos, retrospectives, and release planning.
-
Work with global teams across India, the United States, and other regions.
-
Provide technical support during production releases, regression testing, go-live activities, and hypercare.

Support knowledge sharing and contribute to continuous improvement of development, testing, deployment, and support processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
-
Five or more years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, application integration, or full-stack development.
-
Three or more years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
-
Experience developing and supporting Java-based microservices in enterprise environments.
-
Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
-
Experience with Google Cloud Platform or a comparable public-cloud platform.
-
Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, PCF, or similar container platforms.
-
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, Tekton, Maven, or equivalent technologies.

Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

Experience with application security, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, TLS/SSL, secrets, and identity-management concepts.

Experience with unit testing, integration testing, API testing, performance testing, and automated test frameworks.

Experience supporting production applications with reliability, scalability, monitoring, and performance requirements.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
