Job Overview

Duties

- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized appropriately

- Provide compassionate patient care, including explaining treatments, managing anxieties, and ensuring patient comfort throughout appointments

- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, including treatment notes and appointment schedules

- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment

- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and external professionals to coordinate care and appointments

- Organize daily schedules, manage patient flow, and ensure timely completion of procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote overall dental health

Experience

- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar healthcare role with relevant certification in dental nursing

- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members

- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of IT systems used for patient records and appointment management

- Experience providing patient care with empathy and professionalism in a clinical setting

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to safety standards
