Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee demolition projects within our company. This role involves managing daily operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. The Construction Supervisor will coordinate with various teams, monitor progress, and uphold safety standards throughout all phases of demolition work.
Duties
- Supervise daily demolition activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and safety personnel to schedule tasks and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor site conditions continuously, identifying potential hazards or issues that could impact safety or project timelines.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of work and compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labor crews, providing guidance and resolving any operational issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of daily progress, incidents, and equipment usage for reporting purposes.
- Ensure that demolition activities are completed within designated timeframes while minimizing disruptions to surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to communicate project updates and address any concerns that arise during the demolition process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction supervision, specifically within demolition projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid relevant certifications or licenses related to construction supervision or safety are highly desirable.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
