We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis, SQL, reporting, and dashboard development, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, combine, transform, and analyze data from databases.
- Work closely with business teams and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful reports, dashboards, and insights.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reports and dashboards.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and support regular business performance reporting.
- Prepare and maintain recurring reports and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automation.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, patterns, insights, and potential business opportunities.
- Assist in troubleshooting reporting and data-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams to support timely resolution.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of reports, dashboards, data sources, SQL queries, and reporting processes.
- Support continuous improvement of BI processes, reporting standards, and data visualization practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1+ year of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related role.
- Good working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, filtering, subqueries, and basic data manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting tools.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, lookups, and basic data analysis.
- Basic understanding of databases, tables, relationships, data structures, and data quality concepts.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Pay: $88,129.00 - $106,110.00 per year
