Full Stack Developer

Insurance & Wealth Technologies

Full time, Springfield/Boston/NY

The Opportunity

As a full stack developer, you will work in a fast paced, innovative, and collaborative environment on exciting assignments that are focused on the adoption of leading-edge technologies, implementation patterns, and data management standards and controls.

The Team

The Wealth Management Technology Team supports complex and very dynamic business for product delivery, financial planning services, lending services, and investment operations. The team’s mission statement is to “provide exceptional service and support to project workstreams and business stakeholders by meeting or exceeding expectations”; and a guiding principle is to “deliver the best quality solution as quickly as possible without compromising best practices or strategic goals”. Our culture is grounded in quality and managing customer expectations.

The Impact

Work assignments will span support for projects and business as usual (BAU) for ongoing production delivery, defect resolution, and support, or BAU non-discretionary compliance, audit, or regulatory requests.

The Minimum Qualifications

-

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a similar technical field.

8+ years of Full stack application development experience

The Ideal Qualifications

Outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead a team

Demonstrated experience with application and data integration tools and architectures

Demonstrated experience with database SQL coding and scripting

Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining UNIX/LINUX scripts

Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing product documentation, written instructions, and technical literature for accuracy and completeness

Experience creating and maintaining cloud applications

Experience with wealth management or financial services projects

Strong knowledge of architecture principles, development standards, and best practices
