Experienced Hygiene Coordinator | Full-Time | NO EVENINGS

Are you an experienced dental administrator who knows how to keep a hygiene schedule productive, patients engaged, and the day running smoothly?

An established and growing dental practice is looking for a dependable, proactive Hygiene Coordinator to join our team.

Previous dental reception/administration experience and Dentrix experience are required.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the hygiene schedule and continuing-care program, helping keep patients connected to their care while maintaining a productive, organized schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and maintaining a productive hygiene schedule

- Filling openings and managing short-notice cancellations

- Managing recall, continuing care, and patient reactivation

- Contacting overdue patients and pre-booking future appointments

- Monitoring upcoming schedules and proactively addressing gaps

- Coordinating periodontal maintenance and appropriate hygiene intervals

- Reviewing insurance and patient account information

- Processing claims, pre-determinations, estimates, and EOBs

- Maintaining accurate patient records in Dentrix

- Communicating professionally with patients by phone, email, and in person

- Supporting the administrative team as needed

What We’re Looking For

You understand that hygiene coordination is about more than filling a schedule. It’s about building patient relationships, improving retention, and creating consistency in continuing care.

You must have:

- Previous dental reception/administration experience

- Previous Dentrix experience

- Experience with hygiene scheduling, recall, and continuing care

- Strong knowledge of dental insurance and benefits

- Experience with claims, estimates, pre-determinations, and EOBs

- Strong communication, organization, and scheduling skills

You’re proactive, reliable, organized, and comfortable picking up the phone to connect with patients. You look ahead, identify potential gaps, follow through, and work well as part of a busy dental team.

Why Join Us?

We offer an established patient base, an active hygiene program, strong systems, a supportive team environment, and long-term growth potential. This is a role where your contribution will have a direct impact on both patient care and the success of the practice.

Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction outlining your dental administration experience, Dentrix experience, and experience with hygiene scheduling and patient reactivation.

Please note: Dentrix and previous dental reception/administration experience are required to be considered.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
