We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. The role is suited to an experienced engineer who can take ownership of complex solutions from design through production. You will help build and evolve services, working with complex investment data and distributed systems where accuracy, reliability, and scalability are critical. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of four days per week in the office.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain applications and services using Java and Spring Boot

Develop scalable, resilient APIs, microservices, and distributed solutions

Take end-to-end ownership of solutions throughout the engineering lifecycle, spanning design, development, deployment, and production support

Diagnose complex application and data issues, delivering sustainable fixes

Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes

Leverage AWS and other cloud-native technologies to build reliable, scalable systems
-
Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions

Offer technical direction and mentorship to fellow engineers
Requirements

3+ years of hands-on, relevant experience with Java and Spring Boot

Experience building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

Strong understanding of software design principles, testing practices, performance considerations, and production reliability

Solid SQL and relational database experience

Experience working with AWS or comparable cloud platforms

Familiarity with event-driven architectures and related technologies such as Kafka
-
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, including working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting clear understanding of business requirements and their translation into technical solutions

Demonstrated ability to independently drive technical work and take full ownership from concept to completion

Knowledge of Corporate Actions and related investment lifecycle processes
