Scope:
This position is focused on supporting various Blue Yonder Network solutions like Transportation Planning, Execution and GLG with integrated BY TMS solution.
This involves high-level collaboration with Product Development, DevOps, and global cross-functional squads to maintain data integrity and meet rigorous design specifications.
What you’ll do:

API & Microservices Testing: Perform functional and integration-level API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured to validate microservices communications.

Shift-Left Participation: Engage early in the SDLC by participating in design reviews to identify potential risks and ensure features are built for testability.

Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, track, and resolve software defects in Jira, performing root-cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.

Execution & Automation: Balance your time between executing exploratory tests for new features and writing robust, maintainable automated scripts for long-term stability.

Quality Reporting: Provide clear, data-driven reports on software health and risk to stakeholders, helping them make informed release decisions
What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree, minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Functional and Automation testing.

Test Management & Strategy:
-
Expertise in writing test plan, curating use cases and end-to-end test case management, execution tracking, and requirement traceability.

Ability to design comprehensive test suites that balance manual exploratory testing with automated regression.

Defect Management:
-
Advanced proficiency in Jira for bug tracking, including the ability to write high-quality, reproducible defect reports with clear severity and priority assessments.

Experience leading Defect Triage meetings to align engineering and product teams on fix schedules.

Version Control:

Strong hands-on experience with Git/SVN or any other version control tool

Mobile App Testing:

Experience testing enterprise mobile applications (Android/iOS) using physical devices and cloud platforms like pCloudy.

API & Data Validation:

Proficiency in Postman or SoapUI for functional API testing.

Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for validating data flow across supply chain databases.

Soft Skills: Must have soft skills like excellent communication, constructive collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, adaptability and attention to detail.
