Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job):
VF Brands is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Supply Digital Engineering to lead and manage technology teams that design, develop, and operate end-to-end digital solutions across the product supply Organization. The role drives digital transformation initiatives spanning Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, Data & Analytics, Systems Integration, and ERP -- enabling VF's supply chain operations to be smarter, faster, and more resilient.
The applicant will lead sizeable, cross-functional development teams delivering solutions across supply chain planning (ERP/SAP), AI-powered decision support, intelligent automation, data platforms, and enterprise integration. The applicant will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, architects, engineering teams, scrum masters, and internal/external developer teams.
Key Result Areas:
Digital Transformation & Strategy
- Define and drive the digital transformation roadmap for APAC supply chain operations, spanning AI, automation, data, integration, and ERP domains.
- Align VF's product supply business needs, developer talent, and technology trends to determine solution development priorities across supply chain domains.
- Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to identify high-value transformation opportunities and translate them into executable technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with the architecture team to establish solution architecture standards for Product Supply Digital systems, ensuring scalability, resilience, and interoperability.
AI & Automation
- Lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions for supply chain use cases -- including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, quality inspection, and logistics intelligence.
- Drive intelligent automation initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing, and fulfillment operations using RPA, process mining, and workflow automation platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI/ML frameworks and tools relevant to supply chain optimization, and build team capability in applied AI engineering.
Data & Analytics
- Oversee the development of supply chain data platforms, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and real-time analytics dashboards to support operational decision-making.
- Champion a data-driven culture across supply chain functions by enabling self-service analytics and actionable reporting for business teams.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and lineage standards are applied across supply chain data assets.
Systems Integration & ERP
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) covering supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics modules.
- Define integration architecture and govern API/EDI/event-based integration between ERP, WMS, TMS, supplier portals, and external partners.
- Analyze and modernize legacy supply chain systems; define migration strategies that minimize operational disruption.
Team Leadership & Delivery
- Lead team building efforts -- define talent roadmaps and recruit diverse skill sets spanning AI/ML engineers, ERP specialists, data engineers, integration developers, and full-stack engineers.
- Define guidelines to balance workload between internal and external development teams, including system integrators and ERP implementation partners.
- Establish and continuously improve agile development processes, DevOps practices, and delivery standards across all Product Supply Digital workstreams.
- Govern project delivery quality, timelines, and budget across a portfolio of concurrent Product Supply Digital transformation initiatives.

Functional Competencies -
- 10+ years of experience in software development or digital transformation, with demonstrated leadership in supply chain technology or operations technology.
- 10+ years of experience leading sizeable development teams (~15 or more people), including ERP specialists, AI/data engineers, and integration developers.
- Solid knowledge of AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure AI, AWS SageMaker) with experience delivering production AI solutions in supply chain contexts.
- Solid knowledge of ERP platforms, particularly SAP (SCM, MM, WM, PP modules) or equivalent supply chain planning and execution systems.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain integration patterns, EDI, and API/event-based integration with external partners, WMS, and TMS platforms.
- Solid knowledge of data engineering fundamentals -- ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift), and BI tools.
- Solid knowledge of automation technologies including RPA (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) and process automation frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of popular programming languages such as Java, Python, NodeJS, or C# for building custom supply chain solution components.
- Familiar with micro-service and event-driven architecture frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud, Kafka) relevant to supply chain data flows.
- Familiar with containerization, serverless deployment, and Kubernetes for cloud-based supply chain platform management.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud environments.
- Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies, including managing mixed teams with ERP implementation partners.
- Knowledge of IoT, RFID, or automation technologies applied in manufacturing or logistics environments is advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum Relevant Experience in Product Supply Digital transformation / operations technology: 15 years
- Minimum Relevant Experience in people management: 10 years
Academic Qualifications
- Major: Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Master's Degree or above in a related major would be advantageous.
