Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Designer - WordPress Developer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Website Design & Development: Design and develop custom WordPress themes and templates, ensuring high-quality design, functionality, and seamless integration with plugins and other tools.

UI/UX Design: Create visually appealing and intuitive web designs with a focus on user experience (UX), ensuring a mobile-first and responsive design for all screen sizes and devices.

Custom Theme and Plugin Development: Develop and implement custom themes, templates, and plugins, modifying existing ones as needed to meet project requirements.

Content Management: Work with content teams to structure and format content, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually consistent, and aligned with SEO best practices.

Website Optimization: Ensure that all websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and performance. Troubleshoot any design, functionality, or performance issues.
- Responsive Design: Ensure WordPress sites are fully responsive and provide seamless experiences across all devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Plugin & Widget Integration: Integrate third-party plugins and widgets to enhance functionality (forms, e-commerce, social media, etc.).
- Version Control & Updates: Maintain website security by regularly updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Test websites across various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders, provide updates, and training if needed.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide ongoing website support, addressing issues and applying updates or upgrades.
- SEO Best Practices: Ensure on-page SEO, proper use of meta tags, and clean code to improve search rankings.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Web Designer and WordPress Developer, with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to design and develop WordPress websites.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress, including theme development, plugin customization, and site management.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) and WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
- Hands-on experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development using PHP.
- Familiarity with widely used plugins such as Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience building mobile-first websites.
- Strong understanding of web design principles, including typography, color theory, grid systems, and UI/UX design.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to optimize WordPress websites for better rankings.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git for code management.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of website security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and WordPress-based stores (e.g., WooCommerce).
- Experience with API integrations and working with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, CRM tools).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating custom assets or editing images.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and how they apply to WordPress development.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools for tracking website performance.
- Knowledge of web hosting environments and basic server administration (e.g., cPanel, FTP).
