- Full-stack development — frontend, backend, APIs and database.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js or whatever your current Tekk Live stack uses.
- Experience taking Replit/Claude/Cursor-style prototypes into production.
- Real-time systems: live polling, Q&A, audience responses, moderator controls and live results.
- WebSockets / real-time data synchronisation.
- Authentication, roles and permissions for admins, moderators and attendees.
- Event creation, session management and reusable event templates.
- Analytics, exports and post-event reporting.
- High-concurrency architecture — potentially hundreds/thousands of attendees submitting responses simultaneously.
- Offline/poor-connectivity resilience, which is important for event venues.
- Security, backups, logging and GDPR/data-management fundamentals.
- AWS/Azure/GCP or equivalent production hosting.
- CI/CD, GitHub and proper version control.
- Ability to work with AI coding tools rather than being threatened by them.
