Position Summary:
Reporting to Buying Point/ Plant Manager, the DOT and NON-DOT Truck Driver will be responsible completing all daily task as assigned in a safe and timely manner.
What You’ll Do - Position Responsibilities:
Both DOT and NON-DOT

Perform daily check of truck, ensure proper functionality

Follow all safety policies and guidelines

Follow instructions of the Traffic Controller to ensure the safety of employees around you

Check all paperwork for accuracy

Transfer peanuts from the scale house to the warehouses
-
Staging trailers for customer shipments
-
Understand ofi Peanut Shelling safety policies, work safely and report any safety hazards or unsafe conditions to the Plant Manager or Safety Coordinator.

Follow ofi Peanut Shelling Company Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) guidelines.

Follow all ofi Peanut Shelling Company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Control Rules, and Occupational Safety Rules.

Perform other duties as assigned.
DOT
-
Transfer peanuts from the sheller to the cold storage
-
Transfer peanuts from cold storage to the sheller
-
Adhere to all DOT regulations
NON-DOT
-
Transfer Oil Stock – ensure proper tracking of lot and paperwork

Work Hull Line, ensure the proper and safe tracking of each load that is delivered to the sheller

Must NOT leave company property on company truck
Experience You’ll Bring – Role Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred

CDL and Medical clearance required for DOT
-
1-2 years' experience required for DOT
-
Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

Ability to have a flexible schedule

Good communication skills.

Onsite / Shift Requirements: This role is a fully onsite position where employees are expected to be at the worksite for their specific work schedule. Candidates must be able to work the assigned shift schedule, including flexibility to support business needs which may involve rotating schedules, evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime as required.

This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes peanuts. Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where peanuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air. The pay for this role ranges from $20.84 - $24.19 per hour and is based on position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or other determining factors.
