About The Team

Job Summary:**
The Delivery Cluster Manager at JD.com, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all delivery operations within a designated geographical cluster, ensuring efficient, timely, and customer-centric last-mile delivery services. This role involves managing a team of delivery personnel and resources to meet operational targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of delivery supervisors and delivery personnel, including performance reviews, training, and development.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce delivery times, and improve overall efficiency within the cluster.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction scores, delivery success rates, and cost per delivery, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse operations, customer service, and logistics planning, to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery processes.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including vehicles, equipment, and personnel, to meet fluctuating demand.
- Analyze delivery data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve complex delivery issues promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and present regular reports on cluster performance to senior management.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance delivery efficiency and customer experience.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, or operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of delivery operations, route optimization, and logistics technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in using logistics software, fleet management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs dictate.
- Familiarity with local regulations and geographical nuances within the assigned cluster.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
