Location: 1 Dixon Square, Chestertown, MD 21620

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/Hour

Work Hours:

- Minimum 10 hours per week and 2-hour work blocks

The Dixon Group is seeking a motivated AI Solutions & Automations Intern to help identify, develop, test, and deploy AI solutions that improve business performance. This position is ideal for a student who wants hands-on experience applying AI in a real business environment. The intern will work directly with business leaders and technology teams to understand operational challenges and help develop practical AI solutions.

What You'll Do

- Assist in evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for AI driven improvements.

- Help design and test AI agents, automation workflows, and productivity tools.

- Participate in meetings with business stakeholders to understand operational needs.

- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and best practices.

- Assist with prompt engineering, workflow design, and solution testing.

- Help document AI projects, business requirements, and implementation plans.

- Support user training and AI adoption initiatives.

- Participate in developing and maintaining AI governance and security documentation.

- Monitor performance and reliability of deployed AI tools.

- Create reports summarizing project outcomes and recommendations.

What Were Looking For:

Required:

- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.

- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.

- Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.

- Ability to work in blocks of at least 2 hours at a time.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.

Preferred:

- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.

- Familiarity with Python, Power Automate, Power Platform, SQL, or data analytics tools.

- Previous project experience involving AI, automation, or machine learning.

- Interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
