About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated AI Developer Intern to join our engineering team. This is an entry-level position ideal for students, fresh graduates, or self-taught programmers looking to gain hands-on industry experience building intelligent applications and generative AI systems. You will work alongside experienced developers and AI engineers, contribute to real-world AI projects, write clean code, and learn modern software and machine learning development practices in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code for AI applications under the guidance of senior developers
- Collaborate with the team to analyze project requirements and brainstorm technical solutions for AI-driven features.
- Participate in code and prompt reviews to receive constructive feedback and improve coding standards.
- Maintain basic technical documentation for developed AI tools, workflows, and code modules.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful principles, and making HTTP requests in Python.
- Familiarity with basic Git workflows (commit, push, pull, branching).
- Personal or academic curiosity experimenting with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) or AI frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical coding experience/bootcamp.
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
- Basic familiarity with AI orchestration tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone).
- Exposure to web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
- Familiarity with basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL).
- Understanding of basic machine learning libraries (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with Linux environments or basic command-line usage.
