Job Summary:
This position assists in service work flow by staging new equipment set-ups, washing and cleaning equipment, uncrating equipment, moving equipment, cleaning shop and service areas, warehousing and maintenance duties, and delivering materials to customers. This position assists the Service Manager as needed and ensures customer satisfaction by making sure equipment is staged for quick turn-around time, clean and presentable to customers’ and company expectations before delivery and staged for loading.
Primary Duties:
- Cleaning and washing equipment prior to repair work & after work performed.
- Cleaning newly sold equipment (wash & detail) before delivery.
- Stage and uncrate new equipment for set up and assembly for technicians.
- Assist technicians & other team members in keeping a clean & safe work environment. (sweeping, taking trash to dumpster, etc.)
- Moving and staging equipment for repair orders or loading for customer delivery.
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Cleaning service areas (shop, wash pad), and other facility areas as directed.
- Other duties as assigned (warehouse duties, order pulling, inventory counting, building and grounds maintenance, etc.)
- Operating a company vehicle to deliver products and material to customers
- All other tasks assigned
Preferred Competencies, Qualifications, and Skills:
Qualifications:
- High School diploma of equivalent
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions
- Mechanical aptitude
- Clean driving record
Abilities Required:
- Applicants must meet the physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to standing for entire shift, working outdoors, climbing, lifting, bending, stooping, moving equipment up to 75 lbs., physical labor, etc.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Read and interpret documents such as service manuals, schematics, technical documents, and email
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
