Drive Strategy. Improve Performance. Influence Growth.
At a pivotal moment in our evolution, Autoland is seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President, Information Technology & Business Systems to modernize our technology landscape, accelerate innovation, and build the foundation for future growth.
You'll work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team, influencing company strategy while driving transformational initiatives including Salesforce implementation, platform modernization, data architecture, automation, and AI-enabled business solutions.
With day-to-day support and infrastructure services transitioning to managed service partners, you'll have the opportunity to focus on what matters most: modernizing systems, reducing technical debt, building scalable technology foundations, and creating a roadmap that supports long-term growth and innovation.
If you're excited by the challenge of turning complexity into competitive advantage and building the future rather than maintaining the past, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Lead Technology Strategy & Transformation
- Develop and execute the company's technology vision, roadmap, and investment strategy.
- Advise the CEO and executive team on technology priorities, opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Evaluate automation, AI, and emerging technologies that can drive measurable business value.
Modernize Business Systems
- Lead the implementation and evolution of Salesforce and other critical business systems.
- Define system architecture, integrations, data ownership, governance, and technology standards.
- Simplify complex environments by reducing technical debt, manual processes, and disconnected systems.
Build the Future Engineering Organization
- Lead and mentor the software engineering team.
- Re-establish engineering practices, priorities, and delivery standards aligned to future business needs.
- Assess the company's proprietary platform and determine what should be modernized, maintained, migrated, or retired.
Oversee Technology Operations & Vendors
- Own technology vendors, business systems, infrastructure, identity management, and platform reliability.
- Select and manage managed service providers responsible for IT operations and end-user support.
- Lead the transition from an internal support model to a scalable managed-services approach.
Strengthen Security & Risk Management
- Partner with the parent credit union and external experts to support cybersecurity, privacy, audit, and business continuity initiatives.
- Ensure technology decisions balance business needs, security requirements, risk, and cost.
Manage Technology Investments
- Own technology budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Recommend investments that support growth while improving efficiency and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience spanning technology, business systems, software engineering, architecture, or related disciplines.
- Experience serving as a senior technology leader with broad organizational responsibility.
- 3+ years leading and developing technical teams.
- Demonstrated success leading major CRM, ERP, or enterprise systems implementations.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, systems architecture, integrations, cybersecurity, software development, and data management.
- Experience working within regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Proven success managing technology vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business decisions.
- A strategic mindset combined with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and solve problems when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce implementation, architecture, integration, or migration projects.
- Automotive, fintech, digital marketplace, e-commerce, or B2B2C environments.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, or similar platforms.
- Legacy platform modernization or replacement initiatives.
- Data governance, analytics, reporting, workflow automation, or business intelligence.
- Practical implementation of automation or AI-driven solutions.
- Experience in high-growth or small-to-mid-sized companies where agility and cross-functional collaboration are critical.
