We are seeking a focused, skilled Kitchen Specialist to anchor our food prep and line operations. While kitchen mastery is the primary focus of this role, candidates who also possess barista or front-of-house experience will be highly preferred.
The Role
Your core responsibility is keeping our kitchen running with speed, accuracy, and high food safety standards. On occasion, you will step up to support the front of house during peak rushes.
Core Kitchen Responsibilities:
- Food Prep & Assembly: Slice cured meats, prep fresh Italian ingredients, and build signature panini to strict quality standards.
- Line Management: Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and organized during busy service periods.
- Kitchen Operations & Hygiene: Maintain strict food safety practices, manage dishwashing stations, and clean prep areas throughout the day.
Secondary / Support Responsibilities:
- Step up to the register to take orders and assist front-of-house staff during peak rushes.
- Pour high-quality coffees or assist on the espresso bar if skilled.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong Kitchen Foundation: Solid experience in food prep, knife skills, line assembly, and commercial kitchen hygiene standards.
- Barista / FOH Skills (Big Plus): Proven experience with coffee making, texturing milk efficiently, or handling customer service makes you a standout candidate.
- Speed & Efficiency: Ability to maintain speed and precision under pressure without sacrificing presentation.
- Reliable & Punctual: Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
