Duties
- Actively engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication, personalized service, and follow-up
- Conduct upselling by presenting additional products or upgrades that benefit the customer and increase sales
- Manage route driving to ensure timely delivery of products, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
- Perform merchandising tasks to ensure displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with company standards
- Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when transporting merchandise or supplies within retail or distribution environments
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and route schedules for organizational efficiency
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and sales transactions
- Experience in retail store environments or customer service roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of commercial driving, route planning, and automobile transportation regulations (including DOT compliance)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Proven sales skills with a focus on upselling and client relationship building
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques to optimize product presentation and store layout
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and client information efficiently
- Experience in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline and teamwork capabilities
