Purpose of the Role
The Project Coordinator: Strategic Projects & NIPP is responsible for coordinating and monitoring National Industrial Participation Programme (NIPP) initiatives and other strategic cross-divisional projects within Liebherr-Africa.
The role provides project management, governance, reporting and stakeholder coordination support to ensure that strategic business initiatives are successfully implemented, regulatory obligations are fulfilled, risks are managed and deliverables are achieved in line with company objectives.
The position serves as a central coordination point between business units, corporate functions, external stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities
NIPP Programme Management
- Coordinate the implementation of all approved NIPP business plans and initiatives.
- Maintain and monitor the NIPP master project plan, obligations register and implementation milestones.
- Track NIPP credit generation activities against contractual obligations and targets.
- Coordinate preparation and submission of documentation required by the DTIC.
Strategic Project Coordination
- Coordinate strategic projects across Sales, Customer Service, Parts and other business divisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with government departments, customers, suppliers and business partners where required.
Administrative and Project Support
- Schedule and coordinate project review meetings.
- Maintain central project documentation repositories.
- Track outstanding actions and commitments.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma or Higher Certificate in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, Finance, Commerce or a related field
- 3-5 years' experience in project coordination (involving NIPP), programme management or business administration.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project deliverables.
- Exposure to government incentive programmes, compliance initiatives or strategic projects would be advantageous.
- Experience with reporting and dashboard preparation.
